Students in sixth through eighth grade are welcome and encouraged to be part of our Livewire Middle School Ministry.
Livewire meets in our upstairs Loft on Wednesdays from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. between September and May. After enjoying a meal together (usually pizza), we turn our focus to God through music, teaching, discussion, skits and games.
Beechwood encourages our Livewire students to be part of one of our small groups for middle school students, which are led by an adult leader and focused on instructing and growing kids for their daily life and for the years that lie ahead.
Here are some additional elements of our Livewire Middle School ministry:
"I Believe" Mentoring:
We encourage students of all ages to prayerfully consider when they believe the Lord is leading them to publicly profess their faith in Christ. The approach we take with students during this pivotal time is called "I Believe," an 8-week one-on-one mentoring based program that pairs a student with an adult leader and is designed to help students understand and articulate the Christian faith. Most often the students in "I Believe" sense God's leading to make a public profession of their faith in Jesus Christ.
