Church Plants
Beechwood has been blessed by the Lord to be able to plant several churches over the past few years.
In Easter 2007, after the Lord called Hugo Vasquez to serve as pastor, Iglesia Alas de Aguila (Eagles Wings Church) in Holland held its inaugural service. We continue to be awed by what God has done and is doing at Iglesia Alas de Aguila in Holland. As of April 2011, Alas de Aguila – Holland has celebrated 66 first-time professions-of-faith and 33 adult baptisms. We praise God for positioning Alas de Aguila - Holland to move into a church home at Riley and Butternut, and welcome and appreciate special gifts to help make the move a reality.
Beechwood was blessed to launch a second church plant in May 2009 - Iglesia Alas de Aguila in Wyoming, Michigan. The Lord called Israel Alvarado to shepherd the church, and since its inception just a few years ago there have been 49 first-time professions-of-faith and 15 baptisms.
Beechwood was blessed to plant a third church - Iglesia Alas de Aguila in Allendale – which held its inaugural worship service on Easter Sunday 2011. In just a few short months, after calling Enrique Cuevas to serve as pastor, Alas de Aguila in Allendale is already a thriving church! To this point, 18 people (and counting) have come to Christ through the ministry of Iglesia Alas de Aguila - Allendale.

Even as we thank the Lord for these vibrant churches that have already brought so many to Christ, we seek the Lord’s leading relative to planting still more churches. We are excited about our partnership with Benjamin’s Hope, a first of its kind Christ-centered community model designed to address the multifaceted needs of individuals and families affected by autism and developmental disability. The Church at Benjamin's Hope will be a place where people with a disability can join with their families and others in the community to worship the Lord without reservation and apprehension, and in spirit and truth. Beechwood is blessed to be the planting church for Benjamin’s Hope.
